At Wild Ink Sanctuary, we prioritize offering accessible writing classes and digital accessibility for people with disabilities and actively work to enhance the user experience through ongoing improvements and compliance with accessibility standards within our programs.

At Wild Ink Sanctuary, we believe that creative writing should be accessible to everyone—regardless of age, ability, identity, or background. We center our accessible writing classes around the needs of neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and disabled writers—offering a safe, encouraging space for creative exploration.

What We Offer

  • Sensory-friendly materials and flexible class structures
  • Multiple ways to participate: speaking, writing, drawing, or storytelling through visuals
  • Low-pressure environment that prioritizes emotional safety and self-expression over rigid rules
  • Virtual & hybrid options for those with transportation or energy limitations
  • Instructor experience with trauma-informed teaching and accessible pedagogy

We recognize that creativity doesn’t look the same for everyone—and it shouldn’t have to. Whether you need quiet breaks, simplified instructions, or a different way to engage, we’ll meet you where you are. Our goal with our accessible writing classes is to remove barriers and invite every voice into the circle. At Wild Ink Sanctuary, we believe storytelling can be a form of healing, connection, and empowerment—and everyone deserves a space where they feel safe enough to be heard.

If You Have Specific Needs

If you or your child have accessibility needs—physical, cognitive, emotional, or sensory—reach out to us. We’ll gladly adapt lesson plans, share materials in advance, or work with you to create the best support plan and offer you the accessible writing classes you deserve.
